Sweet Bonanza

Sweet Bonanza: candy falls, then free spins

Each spin fills a 6x5 grid with fruit and sweet symbols, and the grid has no paylines. A win forms when at least 8 matching symbols land anywhere on the grid. After each win, the paying symbols disappear, the remaining symbols drop down and empty spaces refill from above. This tumble repeats until no new win forms, so a single base spin can pay several wins in a row.

Four or more scatter symbols anywhere on the grid start the free spins round, which awards 10 spins. Three or more scatters during that round add 5 more spins. Multiplier symbols appear only in this round, each worth between 2x and 100x; the multipliers present at the end of a tumble sequence are added together and multiply that sequence's win.

Modes, costs and multipliers

Useful once you know the base game and want to see how the bonus round starts.

When four scatters land

Four or more SCATTER symbols anywhere on the 6x5 grid start the round and award 10 free spins. Three or more scatters during the round add 5 additional free spins. Multiplier symbols, worth 2x to 100x, appear only here. Their values are summed and multiply that tumbling sequence's win.

The Buy Feature button starts the free spins straight from the base game. It always awards 10 free spins regardless of the purchase bet level. The button stays greyed out while the Ante Bet toggle is switched on.

Count matches across the grid

The 6x5 grid has no paylines. Wins form from the total count of one symbol anywhere on the grid, and at least 8 matching symbols are needed to pay. Winning symbols are paid and removed, the rest fall, and tumbling repeats with no cap until no more wins occur.

Ante on, Buy Feature off

The Ante Bet toggle sits in the left-hand panel and is optional. Switching it on activates the Double Chance to Win Feature and disables the Buy Feature button while it stays on.

Five steps in order

Before the spin and after the last tumble

After reading, you will know how one spin is paid and where you set the limit.

  1. Small stake, same 6x5 grid

The 6x5 reels turn once for each spin, at the bet you select between A$0.20 and A$240, and every win is paid as a multiple of that stake.

  2. Matching symbols pay without paylines

Symbols land anywhere on the 6x5 grid, and a win forms when eight or more of the same symbol are on it when a spin or tumble step ends.

  3. Tumbles clear, multipliers wait

Winning symbols are removed after each tumble, and the rest fall to refill the grid until no win is left. The MULTIPLIER symbol only shows up in free spins.

  4. Sweet Bonanza opens with ten spins

When four or more SCATTER symbols land anywhere on the 6x5 grid, the Free Spins round starts with 10 free spins on its own reel strips.

  5. Sweet Bonanza pays every tumble first

The reels stop once every tumble is paid, and the balance updates before the next spin. Set a spending limit before the first spin; no session result can be known ahead.

Trial Run

Should you try Sweet Bonanza before betting real cash?

Useful before your first spin, or whenever you want to test the paytable before adding any money.

The demo needs no money and pays nothing. The real game needs an account at Sportybet Casino and you must be 18 or older.

Knowing which RTP version runs

Scatter symbols land at random across the 6x5 grid, so nobody can tell when the bonus round will start. The gap between one Free Spins round and the next cannot be predicted. A session result stays random whatever the RTP, from the first spin to the last. That holds for every version of the game shown on this page.

Each spin on the reels runs on one RTP version, and the game rules are the only place that shows which version is in use. The versions on this page sit close together, so the return on one bet barely changes between them. Read the game rules before you play.

Tumbles in the base game and Multiplier symbols in Free Spins can add several wins to one spin on the 6x5 grid. The maximum win is the ceiling of that process, and reaching it is very rare. Nobody can count on it, and the figure on this page is a limit, not a target for any single session.

Sweet Bonanza, plainly

From guessing to knowing how the bonus is triggered

Five short answers covering trial play, volatility, the series versions, the free spins trigger, and the bonus buy.

Is there a Sweet Bonanza demo I can play first?

Each round on the reels can be played at the minimum bet of A$0.20, which is also the stake the paytable is shown at. Start there to see how the Tumble feature and the bonus run before you raise the bet.

How volatile is Sweet Bonanza, low, medium or high?

Payouts on the reels vary in size from one round to the next, which is the mark of this game's medium volatility. No one can know in advance when a large win will land or how a session will end.

How does Sweet Bonanza differ from the Xmas and 1000 versions?

Reels in the other series versions run with their own RTP and maximum win. Sweet Bonanza 2500, Super Scatter and 1000 list higher maximum wins than this version, while Xmas matches it.

How do I trigger the Sweet Bonanza free spins?

Four or more scatter symbols land anywhere on the 6x5 grid, and that triggers 10 free spins. During the round, three or more scatters add 5 more spins, so the bonus can keep going.

Can I buy the Sweet Bonanza free spins, and what does it cost?

The Buy Feature puts 10 free spins on the reels at any bet level. The price is 100 times the chosen bet, so a larger stake makes the purchase dearer. Turn the Ante Bet off first, because it greys out the button while on.

Sweet Bonanza offers no way back from losses

The reels turn only for players aged 18+. For help, call the National Gambling Helpline on 1800 858 858, or register with BetStop, the national self-exclusion register.

Sweet Bonanza budget first

Each spin on the reels takes the bet from your balance, so decide how much you can afford to lose and keep it apart from money you need.

Set your stop before spinning

Each win on the reels can make the next spin feel like the moment to keep going, so set your stopping point before the first spin.

Account spending caps

Losing spins on the reels can add up quickly, so use the deposit and loss limits in your account before you start.

When play stops being fun

Spins on the reels can feel exciting until they stop being fun, so take a break, or self-exclude on BetStop if that does not help.
